Before you can ship products to the customer, you’ll first need to decide your pricing strategy for shipping. There are several standard methods, but the underlying financials should always inform your choice of business.
It lets you add pricing as per the shipping location. In the shipping tab, you can check the details about the product shipping, location, and date of shipment start.
To create a shipping method, navigate to Admin Panel > Settings > Shipping Price > Create Method
- Click on “create shipping method”. A page with title, estimated delivery date, shipping charges will be displayed. Fill out the details and click on “Save”.
- After creating a Shipping method, go back to the shipping method page, the created shipping method will be displayed. Click on the “Action” an edit page appears for the created shipping method. Setup locations accordingly.
- E.g., If you create a shipping method as express delivery and estimated delivery within 5-6 days and delivery charges as 100, you can assign the location as Chennai. Where if an order is been placed on Chennai it will display as your order will be delivered in 5-6 days. Created shipping charges will be added to the checkout page.
