There are currently more than 26 million eCommerce sites worldwide.
The growth of eCommerce sites in the world experienced an incredible explosion in 2021 and 2022.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the number of eCommerce websites worldwide doubled (204% YoY growth).
By 2020, only 9.7 million eCommerce sites were online, but by 2021, that number had already risen to over 19,8 million.
Globally, the number of eCommerce sites has doubled since 2021.
